To support the Austrian economy in the Corona crisis, the COVID-19 Federal Finance Agency (COFAG) was founded within the framework of the COVID-19 law. COFAG provides guarantees, fixed-cost subsidies, replacement for losses and turnover substitutes for domestic companies.
communication matters served as the press office for the COVID-19 Federal Finance Agency (COFAG) from September 2020 to August 2024 and was available to journalists for media inquiries. The agency was also responsible for the editorial support of the COFAG website.
